Link building is the most important part of getting web sites ranked in the top search engines.
The big problem is to find out what type of backlinks work best right now. There are so many different types of link building tactics and resources.
I just listed a few here:
- High Page Rank Blog Networks
- Web 2.0 backlinks from Squidoo, Hubpages, Wetpaint, WordPress, Blogspot any many more
- Blog comments
- Forum links from signatures
- Links from video submissions
- Press Releases
- Podcast
- PDF directories
- Profile links (like offered by Angela and Paul)
- and others
Fact is that the quality of backlinks is more important than quantity. A few backlinks on authority sites are much more effective than 1000s of low quality blog comments for example.
You can create a few unique high quality articles that help people to solve a problem. Then contact a few of the top authority sites in your niche and offer them to write a unique article for their blog in exchange for a link back to your site with your target keyword as anchor text. While this is probably the most effective backlinking approach it is also the most time consuming one. If you outsource this part you will require a high quality article writer that writes an on topic article in the $20 plus range.
Are Blog Networks effective for getting your Keywords ranked in the Search Engines?
Submitting articles to a trusted blog network comes close to this approach but is normally less expensive and can be automated. There are so many different blog networks out there, which one does really work?
I’ll introduce you to some of the blog networks I’ve personally used and tested over the coming days and weeks.
Today I want to share my results with a blog network called Blogging Underground:
